Church Administration, Management and Leadership - Guidelines and Free Resources


If we can combine depth in the Word and the Spirit, with good skillful organization and administration, our churches and ministries will become an explosive force for God, maximizing reach, impact, and service to many. The converse is also true, that without proper administration and organization, a church or ministry will struggle and at times, even come to a halt. In church and Christian ministry context, we use ‘administration’ to refer to the broad area of activity that support and undergird the ministry of the Word, worship, prayer, nurture and equipping of believers and the proclamation of the Gospel. Administration, in the context of the church, is a ministry to the Lord and His people, and not just a function.

We consider Church and ministry administration an art, a science, a spiritual gift. As an art we develop and nurture certain innate traits and characteristics, through learning and experience, and use these abilities to accomplish their work. Example: working with people, understanding people, being attentive (sensitive) to people’s needs, timing, etc. As a science we learn, study and develop the skills to organize, plan, establish process, budget, review performance, evaluate data, analyze, make decisions, etc. As a spiritual gift we believe God anoints, empowers, inspires ideas, guides, gives wisdom to those in this Church administration, management and leadership.

All Peoples Church is a registered body, registered with the Sub Registrar, Bangalore, Karnataka State, INDIA, Registration No. 110/200102. APC is a wholly religious trust under Section 332 of the 2025 Income Tax Act for Registered Non-Profit Organizations RNPO (formerly 12AB registration of the 1961 Income Tax Act) that strictly operates without FCRA registration, and 80G tax-exempt status. APC does not have FCRA registration and hence cannot receive any contributions from any person or from any bank outside India. Any funds sent from outside India will not be received and will have to be reversed (sent back to donor). All contributions are made solely by residents within India from India based bank accounts. APC does not have 80G tax-exempt status and hence Indian donors cannot claim tax exemption for contributions made to APC on their Indian income tax filing. All services and resources by APC are offered free of cost and fully funded by charitable donor contributions from within India.

This advisory is in view of anti-conversion laws in parts of India. The Constitution of India offers all citizens, individually and collectively, some basic freedoms and Fundamental Rights, which are justifiable. Article 12 to 35 contained in Part III of the Indian Constitution deal with Fundamental Rights including the Right to freedom of conscience and free profession, practice, and propagation of religion and the Right to constitutional remedies for enforcement of Fundamental Rights.
