Christian Professionals, Marketplace Ministry (Free Resources)

APC places a strong emphasis on equipping working professionals, business men and women, to live out their faith and have an impact in the workplace and influence others for God's Kingdom. Believers in the marketplace are on the frontlines for Kingdom advancement and hence need all the equipping and empowering available. We encourage believers to find and take their place, as marketplace leaders, on the seven mountains of society (Business, Education, Government, Media, Art/Entertainment, Family, Religion). We encourage believers to walk in the anointing of God, expect miracles, demonstrate the work of the Spirit and display God's glory in the marketplace.

In addition to providing a forum for Christian professionals, discipling workplace professionals in their Christian life, workplace witness and involvement in missions, there are other important areas, professionals at APC are working toward:
(A) Helping mentor younger workplace professionals and business men and women at APC, especially those who are venturing out into entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurs, those starting new businesses and social/Christian organizations
(B) Reaching professionals in Bangalore city with the Gospel
(C) Being involved in urban church planting in cities across India (planting churches that reach professionals and business people)
(D) Engaging in Christian missions: education sponsorship and small-business development to support church plants in small towns and rural settings.

God's Anointing for You in the Marketplace
There is an anointing for every God-ordained activity. Since God instituted work, there is an anointing for every believer in the workplace. Discover some of the results of God's anointing in the workplace: in releasing skill and talent; bringing supernatural wisdom to solve problems, or plan for the unforeseen; enabling us to go beyond ourselves; bringing supernatural efficiency and productivity; releases God's creativity; causing marketplace miracles; and destroying demonic yokes and burdens in the marketplace. Be challenged to use your spiritual gifts to transform your workplace.
Timeless Principles for the Marketplace
There are many Biblical principles that we can apply to the Marketplace. In this message we look at the following: Treating Employees and Direct-Reports, People & Relationships, Career Growth, Corporate Finance; and Work Habits. The challenge is to live by the timeless truth of God's Word in the marketplace, where right and wrong is often considered relative or even irrelevant.
Marketplace Missions
Following a brief review of the Seven Mountains Assignment and a few examples of Marketplace Movements from Christian History, we discuss seven important ways that an urban church can engage in transforming cities and nations: 1. Influencing culture with Biblical values and Kingdom principles 2. Workplace prayer groups 3. Ministering in the marketplace 4. Weekend missions 5. Short-Term missions 6. Long-Term missions 7. City transformation teams (Urban Church Planting Movement)
