First Corinthians (1 Corinthians) - Book Bible Study : Sermons in this series
First Corinthians (1 Corinthians) Book Bible study is a verse by verse, chapter by chapter exposition of Paul's First Epistle (letter) to the Corinthians. Journey through the book of first Corinthians and discover how we apply these truths in our daily lives.
During Paul's second missionary journey he spent 18 months at Corinth where a thriving Spirit-filled church was established. During Paul's third missionary journey, he spent about 3 years at Ephesus. While at Ephesus Paul wrote 1 Corinthians to address the problems in the Corinthian church, which he had been informed about. Like any local church community, the saints at Corinth were passionate about God and the things of the Spirit. Yet, they had many problems. Paul's first epistle to the Corinthians, reveals God's wisdom and the work of the Spirit in addressing these problems. They set out clearly how we as believers should live and conduct ourselves both in our fellowship with one another, and as we live in this world.
