In this sermon we address the topic of spiritual authority and specifically consider: Do believer’s today have the same spiritual authority over the devil and demons, as the apostles and the Early Church? And a brief on how do we exercise this authority? We consider the basis for our authority: The name of Jesus, The power of the Holy Spirit, The triumph of the Cross and Our position of authority seated with Christ. None of these are tied to the role of being an apostle. All of these are available for all believers. We must learn to speak words of authority with faith and boldness, to exercise our spiritual authority over satan and demons.
