Promises For Divine Protection - Holy Spirit Defense (Daily Devotional)

Greetings and thank you for joining us today. As we wrap up this week, where we have been looking at various scriptures assuring us of God’s protection over our lives. We close out by looking at Isaiah chapter 59, verse 19, the scripture says, ‘So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.’ Notice what the scripture says. When the enemy comes in, even like a flood, seems like so big and powerful, God Himself, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him. We need to say that over our lives, our situations, our present and future. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God raises up a standard against the enemy. When you may sense that the enemy is trying to do some harm and danger, come against you in any form or fashion, declare the Spirit of God raises up a standard, the Spirit of God stops it, the Spirit of God says no to the enemy. The Spirit of God Himself protects and defends us and that is our confidence and that is what God’s word says. So, we believe the word of God that we are divinely protected and we declare these promises over our lives, we live worry free, free from harm, danger, calamity, accidents and trouble. We live in that place of complete security that God Himself is our protector. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord raises up a standard against him, that is what we believe and we live under.

Let us pray, Father, we thank you for the Holy Spirit who surrounds us and protects us. We declare over our lives that when the enemy comes in like the flood, the Spirit of the Lord raises up a standard against him and so protects us. We thank you for this, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
