Live In Prosperity (Daily Devotional)

Greetings and thank you for joining us today on the daily devotional. As always, I joy to come to you and spend a few moments with you in the word and prayer. This week, as we get ready to close out a year, get ready to step into a new year, we are just reflecting on the goodness of God, the benevolence of God. I want to remind us of Psalm chapter 25, verses 12 and 13, these are the words of David and David says, ‘who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and His descendants shall inherit the earth.’ David, out of his own walk with God and his knowledge of the law, this is what he says, he says look, if you're a man of fears God, God's going to teach you on the choices you need to make, on the way you got to take and God's going to make sure that you dwell in prosperity, you have more than enough and not just you, your descendants, your children will be so blessed they will inherit the earth that means they will step into things that God's got for them and they will take possession of it, they will inherit the earth. This is a blessing of those who fear God. Understand that God is a good God and as you and I walk in reverence for God and walk in the fear of the Lord, as David expressed, we can expect His teaching, His guidance in the choices we need to make, we can expect God to direct our paths, we can expect God to prosper us in our ways because he says in verse 12, he himself will dwell in prosperity, he will see good success in the things he does, God will prosper him, God will bless the works of his hands and not just him but even his children will be blessed and his children will be raised to inherit the earth, take possession of things that God has appointed for their life. Expect this for you! As you get ready for 2025, as a person who fears God, who walks ahead into 2025, expect God to teach you, to direct your paths, to prosper you to cause you to succeed in whatever you're doing whether you're a student, you're a professional, maybe you're a business owner, you're an entrepreneur, whatever you're doing, expect God to cause you to dwell in prosperity and not just to you but the generation after you, your household and your family to be blessed because you are a man who fears God. God will do this because He is a benevolent God, He's a good God and this is how He bless His people. Expect His blessings on your life! Let's pray, Father, we thank you for your goodness in our lives, for your benevolence towards us. Thank you for your guidance, thank you for blessing and prospering us and not just us but our generation after us, will cause our children to inherit the earth, thank you, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
