Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hi everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you once again for this beautiful opportunity to spend time in God’s word and in prayer as well. Today, we will be talking about whatever you do, do it unto the Lord. Colossians chapter 3, verses 16 and 17, ‘Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.’ Sometimes, we ask each other, what do you do? And the response could be, I’m a housewife, I’m an IT professional, perhaps, we all could be a different profession. In a culture, where we have rankings, our sense of worth is often measured by the work we do. The more impressive our career, the more important you are. Thankfully, the bible doesn’t measure our worth by how high we have climbed the social ladder or how much education we have. In today’s verse, we read, whatever you do, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus. When life on earth comes to an end, what matters is not how high we have climbed but whether we were faithful to the Lord in what He has called us to. What counts is whether we were clothed in compassion, humility, patience and other fruits of the Spriit. Such a simple scripture, yet such an incredible, liberating message. When I do everything from the heart for the Lord, it overrides all ambitions of wanting to make a good impression on people. Why? Because I’m doing this for God. In Ephesians chapter 6, verses 6 and 7, Paul is writing and says, ‘Not with eye service as men pleasers but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart with good will, doing service as to the Lord and not man.’ Sometimes, it is very easy to live as one who gives eye service to other people, but what about God’s eyes? Have we taken that into consideration? It is important that we do all things as unto the Lord. The apostle Paul urges us to be watchful so that we serve God and not man. When we constantly abide in His presence and live a well pleasing life in God’s eyes, decisions become much clearer to us. Should I look at this? Should I read this? Should I say this? God pays attention to us. Let’s take this recommendation to heart; always do service, all things as unto the Lord regardless how small or big it is. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for your word and that you are a God who measures us not by our outward appearance or what we have achieved in life, but you look at our heart. I pray that each one of us, no matter what we are doing in our lives, whether big or small, we pray that we will do it with all our hearts, not as eye service but doing it for your kingdom and glory, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
