Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom and thank you for joining us for another episode of Living Supernaturally. Through this week, we have been meditating on truth. We spoke of how we know truth is a person and the person in Jesus Christ. We spoke about how the Spirit of truth guides into all truth. Today, we will be looking at another aspect of what the bible says about truth which is to walk in truth. You and I as believers are called to walk in truth. Psalms chapter 86, verse 11, ‘Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.’ There are moments in life that we encounter doubt, confusion, uncertainty and sometimes, it’s just sheer chaos. In these times, we can make a commitment to walk in truth. Walking in truth means to walk according to the way of God, according to God’s will, being conformed to what God desires of us. The part of the verse in Psalm chapter 86, verse 11, which reads, I will walk in your truth, is a declaration of commitment. Knowing God’s truth is one thing and walking in His truth is another. Walking as we know implies movement, action, progression. It is one thing to know what is right and to live out of that truth of right daily. To walk in this truth simply means to order our lives according to God’s ways and to the word of God. It also means that your life will be in tune with what God’s word says, that as you receive the word, you will be a doer of His word, you will continue in His word, you take the wisdom and the knowledge of God about life and apply it in your own life and it means to be able to seek God in all the ways that He has laid out for us. So, when you need wisdom in some walk of life, do you ask Him to teach you? God deeply desires that your soul will be filled with His truth and we walk according to His truth. In a world where truth can seem so relative and can be shifting, walking in God’s truth is what anchors our soul. His truth is unchanging, it is unwavering, it is trustworthy. By committing to walking in God’s truth, we are aligning ourselves to that standard. So, how do we apply this? We seek God for His guidance, we daily go back to His word, to know what He wants of us and we immerse ourselves in His word and be intentional in our walk. As we go about our lives, let’s walk in truth knowing that His word is there to guide us. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for your unwavering truth. Thank you that our ways can be determined by what your word says of us. Give us the grace and the wisdom to walk in truth all the days of our lives. May we give glory to you as we walk the path of truth, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
