Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello dear friends! Welcome once again. We're talking about changing to grow, becoming better in our walk with God. We talked about welcoming change and today we're talking about becoming vessels of honor. True growth and change are in the direction of holiness and purity and God invites us to keep becoming better, keep dedicating and rededicating ourselves to the very nature of God, which is holiness. I want to read for us from second Timothy chapter two and verse 21, it says, ‘therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.’ We're told here that God is so eager to work through the lives of people. The lives of people are like vessels. We are told here that vessels need to be clean. We always prefer to use clean vessels. For us as believers, is being cleansed of any form of sin, anything that displeases God, and we have to be proactive about it. We also read in this verse, that we have to be sanctified, once again cleansed from any impurity, made useful for the master which means that when God is able to get rid of the filth in us, He is now able to fill us with His goodness and His gifts and all the wonderful things that He wants to pour into us and all God wants is our cooperation. Now, we cannot do it by ourselves, we need the word of God, the Spirit of God to work in us, but here's something at play and that is our will. If we are unwilling, even if God wants us to be those clean vessels, useful for Him, He will not be able to do it because we are uncooperative. But if we cleanse ourselves and become these vessels of honor, we are told that we will be ready for every good work that God wants to do in us and through us. So, let's be those vessels of honor, let's be those vessels free from sin that entangles, sin that distracts, sin that causes us to stumble, but let us be in that position where we are letting God work in us, we are willing to yield to God and we become those vessels that are carrying the presence of God in such a powerful way that God can work through us every time. Let's become those vessels of honor friends. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love, your grace that has brought us out of darkness into your marvelous light. God, you have called us for a life of victory and triumph and today, we yield ourselves to that and we pray that sin will have no dominion over us. The power of sin is broken and even as I declare that Lord, I pray that people will be set free from all forms of addiction. We thank you God, we thank you for cleansing us, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen
