The Promise Fulfilled (Daily Devotional)

Greetings and thank you for giving us the privilege of journeying with you throughout this week, where we have been sharing the word of the Lord for 2023- your blessing is coming, pray through till breakthrough. I want to encourage you that as you take hold of the word of God, take hold of what God has put in your spirit, and you begin to pray about it, you begin to pray with a prayer of faith and you engage in persistent, fervent, earnest prayer, not willing to give up but knowing that whatever God has spoken will come to pass, then you position yourself to receive the promise and blessing and we have the assurance that the word of the Lord will be fulfilled. We read here in 1 Kings chapter 18, verses 45 and 46, it says, ‘Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So, Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.’ It says there was a heavy rain. Now imagine, no rain for 3.5 years, drought, famine, dryness, deadness, the word of the Lord came, Elijah prayed, he prayed and engaged in prayer, didn’t give up, it began with a small cloud the size of man’s hand, there was preparation, got into shelter and then the bible says the sky became dark/ black with thick clouds and there was heavy rain, heavy rain. When God comes, He comes with all of His blessings. The blessing of God is ready to be poured out on you, your blessing is coming, you pray through till breakthrough and you will see the outpouring, the abundance of rain, the showers of blessings, the outpouring of the blessings of God, His word will be fulfilled. You will receive, God has promised. You will experience your healing, you will experience your financial blessing, you will experience a change in your life situation, in your family, in your home whether it’s your children or marriage, whatever you have been praying about, you will receive, why? Because the word of the Lord will not return to Him void, because God is watching over His word to perform it, because His word is forever settled in heaven, because His word is truth and His word is alive and full of power, His word will come to pass as you and I pray through till breakthrough, His promise will be fulfilled. I want to encourage you that is the way we are going to journey through this year. His promise will be fulfilled, your blessing is coming, pray through till breakthrough. So, let’s take a few moments just to pray together and I just want to release this word over you and the grace and the anointing of God to see this happen in your life this year. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you, that we can look into your word, we can hear from you, we can receive your word. Father, I release what you put in my heart to tell the people, your blessing is coming, pray through till breakthrough. Lord, we see the coming of your blessing, the fresh wind of your Spirit, the outpouring, the downpour of the blessing and may your anointing, may your grace fulfill this word in every person listening and receive it God, that this year they will see the blessing that they have been believing for, praying for, fulfilled in their lives, the blessings fulfilled, healing manifested, financial breakthrough, breakthrough in their families, in their homes, in their marriages, in their children, in their careers, in their professions, in everything they do, may they see the breakthrough. Thank you Father for fulfilling it, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
