Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and the word of the Lord for 2023 - Your blessing is coming, pray through till breakthrough. We are explaining each part of this word of the Lord, the message for us and we are looking at it from 1 Kings chapter 18. After the prophet Elijah has announced to Ahab that God had said ‘I will send rain on the earth’, I hear the sound of abundance of rain, Elijah goes up and prays, he persists in prayer, presses through 7 times and finally he sees a sign, he sees a cloud emerging across the distance from the sea, he sees the cloud emerging in the sky and he is excited about it. Then, he tells Ahab, I want you to prepare. 1 Kings chapter 18, verse 44, ‘Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So, he (Elijah) said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’”’ In other words, he is saying, Ahab, get under shelter, get into your palace, it is going to pour. What has Elijah seen or what has his servant reported? I’m seeing a cloud, a small cloud, the size of a man’s fist, I’m seeing that. So, Elijah tells Ahab, get ready for the downpour, get into your palace because it is going to pour. Try to imagine this, all he has seen at that point is a small cloud, size of a man’s fist, but what is he saying? Prepare for the downpour. What would you and I have done if we were in Elijah’s place? When all you are seeing is this little cloud, how would you and I have responded? What would we have done? Would we have prepared for the blessing? I think this is an important message for all of us. Your blessing is coming but you need to prepare to receive the blessing. How would your life change once the blessing of God is manifested? In what way would life be different once the promise actually comes into your life. We are all praying for the promise of God to be fulfilled and that is wonderful, but what would life look like when the promise is there? How would life be different? Ae your ready for it? Sometimes we are not ready to actually receive what we are praying for, we are not prepared for it because life is going to change, things around us will change, things in our lives will change when the promise that we are praying actually happens. So, prepare to receive your blessing, prepare to receive the promise of God fulfilled, prepare yourself to be positioned, to be in the place where you can receive and experience and walk in the blessing that you have been asking for. So, remember, your blessing is coming, pray through till breakthrough, but prepare yourself for the coming blessing, prepare yourself to see the promise of God fulfilled, get ready! Let’s pray, Lord, we pray that you give us wisdom to position ourselves and be ready to receive the promise, to be ready to receive the blessing, to walk in it, even as you spoke it, thank you, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
