Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much once again for giving us this opportunity to spend a few moments in the word and in prayer as well. We are wrapping up this week on the hand of the Lord. Today, we will talk about the hand of the Lord for healings and miracles. Psalm chapter 103, verses 1 to 5, ‘Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good, So, that your youth is renewed like an eagle.’ Do we have a right to ask God to heal us? If we do have the right, should we? Notice how the benefit of healing says, He heals all your diseases. It is listed right after the benefit of forgiveness. Divine healing is a blessing and a benefit from God’s hand that we should never forget. Most of us appreciate the benefits in life especially when they are up close and personal. If healing is God’s idea, we don’t have to be insecure about asking God for it. God cares about our physical and mental health because He wants to heal us – body, spirit and soul. This is why Jesus was constantly healing people in His earthly ministry. In Mathew chapter 9, Jesus saw the faith of the four friends and healed the paralytic. Either way, the point Jesus is making is that He can heal and He can forgive. So, yes, He is God, He is divine, He alone has the power and authority to deliver us spiritually as well as physically. We notice that it is sometimes easier to believe God in the tangibles of life than the things that we can’t see. We rightly should trust God for forgiveness, peace, joy and many other intangibles on a regular basis but Jesus also made it clear that He can help us with the tangible things too. One is not harder than the other because He is God. Divine forgiveness of sins and divine healing both come from the same source - our loving savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus’ atoning punishment and death fulfilled Isaiah’ prophecies given hundreds of years earlier. This means that Jesus has fulfilled His redemptive role to provide salvation and healing for all of us. Our role now is to accept and believe what He has accomplished for us on the cross. Jesus paid a great price so we could fully trust in Him, including our health. No one cares more for us than Him and His sacrifice proves it.

Let us pray, Father, we thank you from your hand of healing. We thank you that no matter what situation we are in, your word says, I’m the God that heals thee. We thank you for your hand upon each one of us. We pray that we will continue to look to you and know that the hand of the Lord will bring us through for you are faithful. We thank you and praise you, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
