Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hi everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to spend time together in God’s word and a few moments in prayer as well. We have come to the last day of this week and we have been talking about the commandments that God has given us. Today, we look at the greatest commandment. Mathew chapter 5, verse 19, ‘anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.’ Jesus was asked this very question by a Pharisee who was considered to be an expert of the law. Jesus answered by saying, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.’ Without a right relationship with God, our relationship with others will not be right either. While we will never keep God’s commandments or be righteous before Him by our own efforts, Christ paid the price. It is His sacrificial death on the cross that causes us to stand as righteous, as justified in His presence. The word justified simply means just as if we have not sinned. For with the heart, one believes unto righteous and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. After all, the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation. The heart of God’s law is love. The law is a set of guidelines given by a loving Father to His children for living rightly in this world. In His teachings to the Jews Jesus begins by telling them that He has not come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law. He came to show everyone how to live by the law of love. He explains that it is more important not to do away even with the smallest law but to teach it. The only question left for us to answer is will we live according to these commandments? May we find ourselves living and teaching this radical love of Jesus. Life in the kingdom of heaven means not just believing God’s great love but also living it. Let us pray, Father, we thank you for this greatest commandment that you summed up all of the 10 commandments into one commandment. You said love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and all your might. We pray that you will enable us to do this. Wherever we are, whatever phase of life we are in, whatever season we walk in your love and reflect your glory in our lives, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
