Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hi everyone and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to come together, to spend a few moments in God’s word and prayer. Over this week, we have been talking about trials and challenges and how God is always with us, He goes before us and He helps us to overcome the different challenges that we face in our lives. Today, even as we wrap up this entire week, we will talk about the crown of life. Revelations chapter 2, verse 10, ‘Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Be faithful even to the point of death and I will give you life, as your victors crown.’ A crown symbolizes royalty. Over the decades, kings and queens have worn crowns, prince and princesses have worn crowns. To have a crown, you have to have noble blood. A crown is made of pure gold and adorned with precious jewels. Jesus knows His church completely; He knows our strengths and our weaknesses. He also knows our sufferings. Believers of Jesus Christ receive a crown of life. In his letter to the church of Smyrna, Jesus reveals that He knew the affliction of His followers there. He also knew that their suffering of injustice would grow worse. He composed this short letter to give hope and encouragement to their church community. John reveals to the church of Smyrna that they should not fear anything that they might suffer. He revealed that many had been deceived by those who said they were Jews who were actually of the synagogue of satan. Just as a runner perseveres through difficulties of the race so that he reaches the finish line and receives a reward, so also Jesus wants to put the crown of life upon your head when you reach the finish line, after persevering through pains and trials and persecutions. Therefore, the crown of life is a reward for a life well lived. It is an honor that Jesus bestows upon His children. The crown is an encouragement to stay strong, to keep the course and to remain faithful. In this life, we are already blessed in persevering through trials but we cannot fathom the magnificent blessing in store when Jesus gives us that crown of life. What a joy it is going to be when you and I will stand before our Lord, to receive that crown of life, a crown that is imperishable, a crown that is eternal. Let us pray, Father, we thank you for this entire week and our hearts are filled with hope and joy and strength to know that you are a God who is always with us, through every season, through every pain, through every challenge and you will continue to be with us. We pray that as believers, as your children, we will run this race with endurance, with perseverance, we will receive the crown of life, we thank you Lord, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
