Hello everyone, we continue to talk about the power of the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus
has accomplished so much for us. Now, how can we apply the blood upon our lives? How can
we walk in the power of the blood? And that's what we're going to talk about today. Hebrews
10 chapter and verse 23 says, ‘let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for
He who promised is faithful.’ So, in the word of God, we have this principle of making
declarations or speaking the truth of God's word over our lives. Here in this passage, we are
encouraged to hold fast the confession of our hope. Confession simply means saying the same
thing or speaking in agreement. So, we need to speak in agreement with what the blood of
Jesus has done for us. And this is how we appropriate the power of the blood in our lives. We
can speak in faith that the blood has cleansed us. We can speak in faith that the blood has
sanctified us. We can speak in faith that the blood has justified us. We can speak in faith that
the blood has protected and purchased us. We also see that the blood of Jesus helps us
overcome the enemy. Now in Revelation chapter 12 and verse 11 the scripture says that we
overcome the enemy by the power of the blood. So, we declare the power of the blood and
even as we declare the power of the blood, satan and all his demons tremble at what the blood
has done and how the blood has defeated the enemy. And so, you and I can speak of the blood
of Jesus and see the enemy flee from us. And this is another way in which you and I can really
walk in victory and the power of the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has brought us
cleansing. When we read about the blood of the new covenant, we see that it is the blood of
remission and forgiveness. So, you and I can declare that forgiveness of God is upon our lives. In
1 John chapter 1, verses 7 through 9, John talks about coming before the Lord in repentance
and as we confess our sins that the blood of Jesus will cleanse us. You and I can confess our
sins, walk in submission to the Lord and experience the cleansing work of the blood of Jesus.
Hebrews chapter 3 and verse 1 is a great reminder that the Lord Jesus is the High Priest of our
confession and so we understand all that the blood of Jesus has done for us and we begin to
speak it out, the Lord Jesus backs us up as our high priest and we see the manifestation of the
power of the blood in our lives. So, let us know what the blood has been done, let us speak
about what the blood has been done, let us declare what the blood has been done for us. Let us
pray together, Father, we thank you for the powerful work of the blood of Jesus. We declare
that the blood is our war cry, the blood is our victory. Even as we speak the truth about the
blood, we thank you for the power that has been released into our lives and into our situations.
We honor you, we praise you, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
