Hello friends, we've been studying about the presence of God and all that can be accomplished in God's presence. Today, we will look at the fact that you and I can be renewed and receive joy in God's presence. Where should we go when we are weary? Where should we go when our hearts are discouraged? Where should we go when we're feeling really weak? Well, the Bible encourages us to go right into the presence of God because that is a place of renewal. I'm sure many of us already know this passage by heart, it's Isaiah chapter 40 and verse 31, which says, ‘but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.’ This passage shows us that when we wait in the presence of God, which means we linger in God's presence, God renews our strength. We are also told that we will have the ability to rise up once again, it says mount up with wings as eagles. We might feel that we are brought down, and we do not have any strength to rise up once again, but God's word says that we will surely rise up with wings as eagles and that we will have the ability to run and walk, which means to look ahead in life and move forward. All this is possible because of what happens in God's presence. God imparts His strength in our weakness, and we now have the ability to rise up and move forward. God's presence will renew us, God's presence also has the promise of joy and great pleasures. Psalm chapter 16 and verse 11 it says, ‘you will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.’ We are told that if we want to exchange our heaviness, if we want to exchange our disappointment and discouragement, we should enter the presence of God. Because in the presence of God, God has stored up incredible joy for you and me, that we can bring back with us and not only that, but the pleasures that you and I are desiring for, the things that our hearts are yearning for. Many times, we go around looking in other places for the things that make us satisfied, but here's what God's word says, that we find every pleasure in His presence. So, let's enter the presence of God. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you, that your presence is the place of our renewal. It's the place where we find our joy and we receive every pleasure of God of life. We pray that you will give us the grace to continue in your presence and be blessed by all of this. We give you thanks and praise, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
