Hi everyone, it's great to be back together with you. Today, we will continue to meditate on releasing God's work through our lives. Let's begin by reading a scripture, this is from John chapter 3 verse 6, ‘That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.’ We as believers want to do the work of God. We want to do great things for God. It's important for us to conceive these things by the work of the Holy Spirit. Now with great ideas and just logical reasoning, we cannot come up with what God wants us to do through our lives. So, it's very important to yield to the work of the Holy Spirit, to listen to the voice of God and then do whatever God calls us to do. As we just read that which is born of flesh remains flesh, but that which is born of the Holy Spirit is spirit and that is what we are after. It's very important for us to birth something genuine, something that comes from the Holy Spirit. A great example is the life of Mary and we know that Mary was chosen, though she was an ordinary girl, God chose her to be the mother of our Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. She birthed Jesus. We could say she conceived the Lord Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. We see in Luke chapter 1, verse 35 that she was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and that is what is brought about the Savior to be conceived within her. In the same way, when we walk with the Lord and when we yield to what He wants us to do, there are times when God will put things in our hearts and that is a prompting of the Lord. When it comes from the Lord, when it comes as a work of the Holy Spirit that is what we must carry and that is what we must work toward and that is what we must desire to release through our lives. We can see examples of many people in the Bible - one particular one is Moses. We see at the age of forty, it came into his heart, the desire to deliver dis people. It was not of his own making, but it truly came from the Lord and we see how God stayed on that call of Moses and even when he lost his way and he was in the wilderness, wondering if God would ever do what He had promised in Moses' life, we see his encounter with the burning bush. But the point is that what he carried in his heart as a purpose and a call came from God and that is what we are talking about. We must receive what God puts in our hearts. We must conceive by the Holy Spirit and we also know that God will not anoint the work of the flesh but He will only anoint the work that is birth of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray that God would birth something in our hearts and anoint us to be able to fulfill it.

Let us pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for your word. We pray that we would not be a function in our own understanding but we would yield to the voice of your word and your Holy Spirit. Yes, Father God, guide us and lead us according to your purposes, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
