Hello everyone and welcome to Living Supernaturally, the daily devotion by All Peoples church, where we spend a few moments in God's word to build our faith up and to remind ourselves to be fruitful in God's kingdom. This week, we've been looking at the team receiving God's guidance and looking at scripture on how God guides us through every step of the way. Today, I just want to emphasize that our times are in God's hands. Psalms chapter 31, verse 15, it says, ‘my times are in your hand.’ God has a timetable; God has a time for each one of us. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. He's the author of our faith and so every season, every day when we put our faith in Jesus, it belongs to Him. This is one of the most reassuring verses in scripture for anyone who feels like they're behind, they're too slow or running out of time. Your times, your seasons, your moments, your appointments are not with destiny, they are in God's hands. They're not in your hands, not in the enemy's hands, they're not in other people's hands, but they are in God's hands. Sometimes you may feel like maybe you're hidden, maybe it's a season where not much is happening, but I would just want to remind you that every season has a purpose. We see king David in the Old Testament, where he was anointed as a teenager, but it took about 15 to 20 years to be appointed as king. Jesus, Himself had 30 years where He grew up in wisdom and in stature, hidden, but then He was ready for 3 years of explosive ministry. The apostle Paul, after his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, he spent about 16 years in the wilderness, in the deserts of Arabia, before he started his ministry. And so, I just want to remind us that every season, every day is in God's hands. God has a timetable for each one of us, and I pray that those of us who put our faith in Jesus will truly understand their season. Every day when you wake up, you can make that prayer, Lord, my times are in your hands, use me according to your timetable. We don't want to be faster, we don't want to be slower, but Lord, we want to be aligned to your time, to your seasons that you have for us. Jesus is the author of our faith, He has written our story, and His story for us has a timetable, and we need to be aligned. Our hearts' desires, our minds should be aligned to the seasons that He has for us. Let's pray, Father, we just thank you for this time. We thank you for this reminder that our times are in your hands. We just thank you that every season, every day, you have a story for us. Every season has a purpose, and we just pray that our hearts, our minds will be aligned to your times, to your timetable, to the heavenly timetable and so, Lord, we just thank you for this truth and for this reminder, in Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
