Receive Your Healing - His Spirit makes us Whole (Daily Devotional)

Greetings and thank you once again for joining us today in our time in God's word and for a few moments of prayer. This week, we have been talking about receiving divine healing. We are revisiting certain scriptures that remind us that our God is a healer and we are also going to take a few minutes to just pray together. We would encourage you to share your testimonies with us during the course of this week, as we pray and you experience healing in your body. Take a moment to send an email to us. The Holy Spirit who dwells in us is a healing Spirit. He is the one who heals us. In Romans, the 8th chapter and 11th verse the apostle Paul teaches us this, he says, "He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." He's telling us that this Holy Spirit who dwells in us, God who raised Jesus from the dead by His indwelling Spirit is giving life to our physical bodies. Our physical bodies are mortal, that means they're eventually going to die. Our bodies get old and eventually they will die, but the Holy Spirit is dwelling inside of these mortal bodies right now. He's obviously not going to be in the body that goes into the grave, but He is in the body that's alive on this planet. He's dwelling in us and we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. So, when the Holy Spirit is dwelling in us, what does He do? Of course, there's many things He does. One of the things that are brought out to us in this verse, verse 11 of Romans chapter 8, is He gives life to our physical bodies. So, I want you to visualize this or see this in your mind's eye that the Holy Spirit dwelling in you is giving God's life into every cell in your body. Every cell, whether it's in your blood, your organ in your body, every cell and not only that, think about your mind, not only your brain cells, but the mind, your emotions, your memories, your feelings, even in those areas, the Holy Spirit imparts His life. Think about the life of God, the apostle John wrote that the life of God shines in darkness and dispels darkness, it means, drives out everything that is not of God. So, the life of God in you drives everything out of your physical body and in your mind, your emotions, everything that's not of God, drives it out of you. So, we need to take a hold of this saying, "The Spirit of God who dwells in me, He gives life to my whole being, my body and my mind and my emotions." The Holy Spirit is the healing Spirit. He's the one who makes us whole and He releases His life-giving wholeness into our emotions, our mind, our feelings, our memories and every cell in our physical body. So, as we pray today, I want you to believe God for that, that you're going to experience the life-giving power of the Holy Spirit touch your every cell in your being making you whole and bringing wholeness to you. Let's do that, Father, we thank you that the Holy Spirit dwells in us. He gives a life to every part of our being and so in the name of Jesus, we declare that everything that's of darkness, everything that's not according to God's original design, everything that's not according to who God is, is dispelled out of our bodies and our minds in Jesus' name by the life-giving power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. So, right now, in Jesus' name, I declare the wholeness of God to flood our bodies and our minds. The life of God and the light of God to fill our bodies and minds because the Holy Spirit gives life to every part of our being. We thank you Lord, in Jesus' name, Amen.
