Greetings, thank you for giving us this privilege of coming to your place, wherever you are and spending a few moments with you in the word of God and in prayer. Like we said yesterday, many, many people, including believers, are very concerned about the future. How will things turn out in the unknown, in months ahead, years ahead and we want to help each of us be people full of faith and confidence for the future and we know with absolute confidence that our future is good and here's why, we're just going through the scriptures one by one. Here's another reason why you and I can be so assured that things will be good for our future, it's because God has good things planned, is our future, the purpose that God has for us has been planned and it is good. In Ephesians chapter two verse 10, the apostle Paul writes, he says, ‘we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.’ Think about it, he says we are his workmanship, we are God's handiwork, we are something that God is working on, and God is not going to mess up on something He's working on. God is not going to fail on something that He's working on. God is not going to abandon something that He's working on. God is not going to neglect or forget something that He's working on and you are something then God is working on because He says, we are His workmanship, created in Jesus Christ for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. That means God already has things that He has planned for your life. He's got people that He wants you to meet, He's got places that He wants you to go, He's got things that He wants you to do, He's got lives that He wants you to touch, He's got things that He wants you to transform, He's got communities that He wants you to affect, He's got nations that He wants you to touch. He's got all those things planned already and all you and I are doing is going to walk with Him into it. God has things planned for you, His purposes for you are already planned and He's working on you, to make you ready, to get you ready for every step of the way. What you and I need to do is this journey with Him, one step at a time. The beautiful thing is this in Psalm chapter 138, verse 8, the psalmist says, ‘the Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the work of your own hands.’ The Lord will perfect what concerns me. The Lord will complete what concerns me. God will complete His work in you. You just have to be faithful, walk with Him. Be assured today, God is at work in you because you are His workmanship. Be assured today, that God has great things, good things already planned for you. His purpose for you has been planned. Your future is secure because God has planned it and purposed it for you. Let's pray, Father, we thank you that you have already gone ahead of us way into our future and you've planned things for us, and we are just journeying into those things you've prepared for us. Help us to stay the course, help us to stay aligned and enter into everything you have for us, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
