Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and thank you for giving us this time today, to be with you, spend a few moments in God’s word and pray with you. We always appreciate the opportunity to do that and trust that as we spend a few moments in God’s word, you are being enriched and encouraged in your walk with God. This week, we are talking about success. All of us desire to be successful, we want to do well in whatever we do. Like we said at every beginning, success is defined differently for each of us. We understand what success would look like for us personally because we are all engaged in different things, pursuing different things and so we don’t have to compare our success with somebody else because your successes are not measured by somebody else’s success, your success is entirely measured by how you do, in what God has assigned for your life. So, that is success in your life, you are doing well. What we must understand is this, that God can cause us to be successful. He has said that you and I can prosper in whatever we are assigned to do. Now follow with me on these scriptures, in Psalms chapter 1, verses 1,2, and 3, very familiar, God talks about a man who fears God, he doesn’t walk in ungodly ways, he doesn’t follow the way of sinners or scornful, he delights in the law of the Lord and meditates on God’s word, he will be like a tree that is planted by rivers of water, his leaf will not wither and whatever he does, prospers. Whether he is professionally a teacher or whatever this man does, he prospers, why? Because he is firmly planted in God. Psalms chapter 25, verse 12 and 13 talks of a man who fears God, God teaches him in the way he chooses, he will dwell in prosperity. He fears God, God guides him in all his choices, and he dwells in prosperity that means he is very successful and doing well in life because he fears God, God is guiding him and he is doing really well, and his children are blessed after him. Psalms chapter 35, verse 37, the psalmist says God has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. God is pleased when His people are successful, fruitful, and prosperous. He has pleasure in seeing His people prosper, doing well and being successful in life. Proverbs chapter 28, verse 25, the latter part of that verse says, he who trusts in the Lord will be prospered. What I want us to understand is this, that as God’s people, if we are rooted in God, live by His word, be guided by Him in what we do, trust in Him, it will cause us to prosper and succeed in whatever we do. Now, you may not have thought of that, the world says you got to be like the world, follow the ways of the world, but I am showing you from the scriptures that we are people who fear God, live godly, live by the word, be guided by God, trust in God, He will cause us to succeed and prosper, that is for you, let’s receive it. Let’s pray, Father, we choose to be like who your word calls us to be and we thank you, you will cause us to be prosperous and successful in whatever we do, thank you, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
