Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom and thank you for joining us for another episode of Living Supernaturally. We have looked at some of the powerful prayers that have been prayed in scripture and we are using it for our context/ situations today. Today, we are praying the prayer of equipping and it is taken with reference to Hebrews chapter 13, verses 20-21, which we will pray at the end. If you look at these verses, this is like a benediction or it is a blessing to the Hebrews. This caught my attention because it did sound like a prayer. We see that it is God’s will and God’s purpose that you and I as believers are thoroughly equipped in everything or every task that He has called us to do. We are going to think about this equipping in 3 ways. What are we equipped by? What are we equipped with? And what are we equipped for? So, when we look at the verses, we see that we are equipped by the God of peace. He is the God of peace; He is the one who makes peace. The God of peace wants to equip us with everything so that He can make peace with us. The God of peace is powerful because He brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus and He raised Him and He is now reigning with God. If God can do that, He can do anything, He can do everything. The God who wants to equip you is also compassionate, He is like a shepherd, He is trustworthy, He is loving and He is the one who has paid the price for our peace. What are we equipped with? We are equipped with everything good for doing His will. In other words, it means for whatever is needed, God promises to equip you with everything good for doing His will. Suppose you are raising children; God will equip you to raise godly children. If you are working and you need tasks to get done, God will equip you with understanding and wisdom and knowledge. Perhaps, you are dealing with a difficult spouse, God will equip you with His peace. Or you maybe dreadfully hurt and bitter against someone, God has promised to equip you with His forgiveness because it is His will for us to forgive. Lastly, what are we equipped for? We are equipped to give Jesus glory. We have been equipped with everything for doing His will, for what is pleasing to Him so that we could in turn give Him glory. Now, that is the purpose of our life that we will be equipped to doing everything according to His will, by Him, by the God of peace so that we could give Him glory. Now, this is the goal of our life, of our existence, of our work, of our recreation, of our education; whatever we may have, this is the purpose that God has called us for. Let’s pray this prayer of equipping. The scripture is put up for you on the screen or you could follow it in your bible as we pray together. Let’s pray, ‘Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.’
