Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom and we are so glad that you have joined us for yet another episode of Living Supernaturally. This week, we are dwelling on how we can be aware and activate God’s presence in our lives. One of the ways that we can become aware of His presence is praise. Praise is a simple method of being aware of God’s presence. Sincere praise is something that is irresistible to God. Psalm chapter 22, verse 3 says ‘But you are holy, O you who dwell in the praises of Israel.’ The word here is dwell and to dwell means to live in, to inhabit or to remain and abide. Some versions say, God inhabits or is enthroned in the praises of His people. It is amazing to think that God in all His fullness would inhabit and dwell in our praises, that means our praise is absolutely desirable to God. As soon as He hears us call His name, He is ready to answer us, He is there with us. Every time we begin to praise God, His presence comes in like a flood, even though we live in His presence, His love is lavished on us in a miraculous way when we begin to praise Him. Your praise and worship is sacred and pleasing to God, whether you are singing in your car or whether you are praising and thanking God in your kitchen or even maybe you are worshipping with others, worships ushers in the presence and activates His presence in our lives. Worshipping God is acknowledging who He is, talking to Him and telling Him about His greatness. When you worship in spirit and in truth, you open the whole of you to God. When people worship, God’s presence fills the environment. God has promised as we read in today’s verse that He inhabits in the praises of His people and He is always true to His promise. Our worship provides a place of meeting with God, a place where we encounter His presence and where we embrace His invitation to join Him as He works in our lives. We must also praise in good and bad times, when we are awaiting His touch even in our circumstance. Our God deserves our respect, our praise, our worship. Simply put, our worship expression creates a place for us to encounter and experience God. Would you join me in a very simple worship song?

I love you Lord, and I lift my voice, to worship you, O my soul rejoice, take joy my King, in what you hear, may it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.

Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, may our hearts sing in worship and praise to you. Even as we worship you and praise you and sing of your glory and goodness, thank you that you are here with us, we are aware of your presence, you are in our midst. Thank you that you inhabit the praises of your people, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
