Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome to Living Supernaturally. We are going to be reading from Philemon verse 6, it says, ‘that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.’ There is one thing that is required of us in order to live a life that is effective, sharing of faith that is effective and that is to acknowledge every good thing that we have in us because of Christ Jesus. The Lord Jesus when He died on the cross and rose again, He changed certain things in us. It was not just a resolution that we made to become followers of Christ, there was a deep, spiritual change that happened because of what He did for us on the cross. We see here that we have access to God. We can access God, we can draw near to God with boldness because that access, that way has been made for us because of the Lord Jesus. Let us look at Ephesians chapter 2, verses 13 and 18, verse 13 says, ‘But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.’ We need to acknowledge that God is holy God, He is a consuming fire, He dwells in unapproachable light but because of the work of Christ, we have been brought near by the blood of Jesus. Verse 18 says, ‘For through Him (Christ) we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.’ Ephesians chapter 3, verse 12 says, ‘in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.’ Many a times, we hold back from drawing near to God, we hold back from drawing near to His presence in worship because the consciousness of how unworthy we are, overwhelms us, the consciousness of the fact that we are sinners overwhelms us. When we look into the word of God, we see something different that is mentioned there. When we look into the truth, the truth is this because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, there are some things that are shifted and changed, there are some things are made available as believers and one such thing is the access that we have to God. We don’t have to hold back; we don’t have to worship God from a distance but we can draw near. In fact, in Hebrews chapter 4, verse 16, this is the invitation, it says, ‘Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’ In Christ Jesus, we have boldness and we can access His presence with boldness. It is time for us to acknowledge this fact and truth that we might live a life that is effective and to the full potential of who God has called us to be. Let us pray, Father, we thank you, that in you we have boldness and we can access with boldness the very presence of the most holy God. We thank you that you made a way for us through your blood to come boldly to your throne of grace, to receive grace and mercy. We thank you for this awesome privilege for you are a holy God and you have cleansed and washed us and made this way for us to come to your holy presence. We give you all praise today, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
