Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings! and thank you for the privilege of coming your way, spending time with you, this week we've been talking about the nine marks of a minister of God, and we've been basing it on second Timothy chapter three verses 10 and 11 and I hope you've been tracking with us day after day and looking at each of these marks and our desire is that God will develop these in our lives. We have to grow in these, we don't come prepackaged with all of these nine marks, no, we grow in them and ask God to develop them in our lives and we're observing them from the life of the apostle Paul. Today we look at two more, Paul mentions love and perseverance, perseverance meaning endurance. So, two things we're going to look at. He says Timothy, you've seen my love, love for God and love for people and perseverance- the ability to endure, to press through hardships, difficult times. Love must be another mark in our lives, how we love God and how we love people. Love must be expressed through our devotion to God and through our dedicated serving of people, love must be seen through what we do, through how we speak and the actions we take, people need to see, love must be demonstrated. And in addition to love, he says perseverance, my ability to persevere or press through difficulties, situations that could push you back, you press through, you endure, and you keep going. Paul is telling Timothy, Timothy, you've seen my love and you've seen my perseverance, and these are two marks that identify me as a minister of God. I want to challenge you and me, can people see love in our lives, love for God? Are they inspired by our devotion to God? Can they see love for people? Can they see that we're willing to do things for people, willing to sacrifice for people? Do people see our perseverance that even though we face difficulties, we keep pressing through? Do they see that we are people who are in this for the long run, that we have endurance, we've got stamina and we keep persevering, we keep pressing in, do people see that embodied/ demonstrated in our lives? They need to, these are two marks of a minister of God. Let's pray, Father, we ask that people will see love in our lives and people that see perseverance demonstrated in our lives, give us this grace, we pray, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
