Welcome to Living Supernaturally, we are going to take some time to look into God’s word, read through some scriptures, apply it in our lives and see that God has a life for us that is to be lived supernaturally. We have been specifically looking at this whole topic of lie versus truth, especially in the area of marriage and family. The lie number one that we can believe about our marriage and family is that the family situation is beyond repair, it is damaged beyond repair and nothing can be done about it. Well, Jeremiah chapter 32, verse 27 says, ‘Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?’ I just want us to have hope in God and put our faith in Him because He is God of all. It says, He is God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me? He is the sovereign and all powerful one. Maybe you’re in a place of almost giving up hope about situation in the family, maybe people are living their own lives, maybe they are not coming to the Lord or there could be strife, division and there is no oneness. Well, the Lord is able. Luke chapter 1, verse 37 says, ‘For with God nothing will be impossible.’ If our posture is saying, God, nothing will be impossible for you and so I put my trust and faith in you, you ordain the steps that I need to take, you order the path I need to walk in, enable and lead me God and He will lead us on that path of restoration and rebuilding our lives. The lie number two that we could believe about ourselves or families is that we will never be loved or understood at home. Maybe you are in a young person and teenager and things at home are not exactly easy and you’re having difficulty being understood. Well, this is something that scripture instructs - 1 Peter chapter 4, verse 8, it says, ‘And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.’ Psalm chapter 118, verse 15 says, ‘The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.’ Who is the righteous? We are the righteous because we are clothed in righteousness because of the blood of Jesus as we have received Him as Lord and Savior. We are a recipient of this promise, that the voice of rejoicing and salvation in our dwelling place and tent, by implication it means our household and family. Be encouraged today and let your faith rise up.

Shall we pray? Father, we thank you that your truth exposes the lies that we believe and entertain in our lives. We pray, let your truth remove every lie that could be embedded deep in our hearts, let it be removed whatever is there in our minds that we have allowed to be there. Even though it maybe deeply entrenched, let it be removed by the truth of your word. We pray that we will be set free to live the life that you have called us to live, pursuing the truth in our families and marriages, in Jesus’ matchless name we pray, Amen.
