Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much once again for giving us this opportunity to come together and just meditate on God’s word and pray. Genesis chapter 44, verses 14 through 17, ‘Joseph was still in the house when Judah and his brothers came in, and they threw themselves to the ground before him. Joseph said to them, “What is this you have done? Don’t you know that a man like me can find things out by divination?” “What can we say to my lord?” Judah replied. “What can we say? How can we prove our innocence? God has uncovered your servants’ guilt. We are now my lord’s slaves—we ourselves and the one who was found to have the cup.” But Joseph said, “Far be it from me to do such a thing! Only the man who was found to have the cup will become my slave. The rest of you, go back to your father in peace.”’ It is rare that we experience deep guilt for ourselves. This happens when we have exhausted our skills of evasion, denial, suppression, blaming, minimizing, rationalizing, justifying and more, all to avoid facing up to our sin. When we are used up or cast aside, the horrible reality of our guilt meets us head on. The problem of guilt is a problem that each one of us will face. Guilt was something that brought anguish to the hearts of the brothers of Joseph. They knew that they had done wrong to their own brother. For many years, they suffered on the inside because of their guilt. It describes a feeling of shame or remorse or something wrong that they have done to a person. The person has become uncomfortable inside and there is this inner awareness of the wrong that they have done. A still, small voice saying, you are guilty, you have sinned, you have done wrong. On the outside, the person may seem and look like everything is alright but deep down inside he knows that guilt is eating him up. For 20 years, the guilt of their brothers supposed death had eaten them up. What is God’s solution to guilt? God sent His beloved Son to suffer for man’s guilt and to pay for the penalty of mans crimes. Because of what Christ has done, God is able to provide man with a one and only solution to guilt- forgiveness. The problem of guilt can only be solved through forgiveness, divine forgiveness is the solution. Covering up of sin will never work. Joseph’ brothers are the perfect example of how not to solve a guilt problem. Sin must be acknowledged and confessed, with cleared vision, they finally see God’s hand upon them. Their guilt was exposed and they found themselves bowing low to their brother; a prophecy, a vision that was fulfilled during that time. With great wisdom and love, Joseph exhorts his brothers in Genesis chapter 50, verse 20, here is what he says, ‘but as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring it about, as it is today to save many people.’ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness. Let us pray, Father, we thank you, we thank you for forgiveness, we thank you that as your children, we don’t have to live in guilt, we don’t have to live in shame and in condemnation, that your Holy Spirit is able to bring forgiveness in our hearts, that the joy of the Lord will be our strength, that your Holy Spirit will bring peace in our hearts. We thank you that when we come to you, you are a God who will forgive us. We pray that we will not tun away from you, our sin will not make us run away, but to run to you, to run to the cross to find forgiveness and to love and honor you, we thank you, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
