Greetings and thank you for the opportunity to come to you today. I don’t know what this year has looked like for you, what you have journeyed through, throughout this year. We have all been through trying times, coming out of the pandemic, getting back into life, getting back into certain routine things that we were able to do prior to the pandemic. For some of us, things may not have been very easy in the professional areas or other areas. There are so many things we could have gone through and I want to remind us today as we ponder about the love of God that no matter what we’ve gone through or no matter what we may go through in the future, God’s love for us never fails. The apostle Paul put it like this in Romans chapter 8, verses 35 to 37, he said, ‘Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.’ What Paul is telling us is this, he says, ‘look, in life, we are going to face all kinds of things, and he mentions hardships and distress and persecution and all kinds of things. He says, as we go through this, can anything separate us from the love of God? In other words, God’s love towards us is unfailing, God’s love towards us is so strong, His grip of love on us cannot be broken, it says, who can separate us from that love? The love that God has for us. He says, because God loves us so much, no matter what we face, he says, in all these things, we are more than conquerors, that means we have this knowledge that nothing can take us away from the love of God and the love of God will sustain us, the love of God will bring us through victorious through everything that we go through. In all these things, we are coming out victorious because of the love of God. It says we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us or who continuous to love us. So, no matter what we have been through, or what we may go through in the days to come, we are in this place where we are so loved by God, His love is unbreakable, His love cannot be broken or removed and because of that love, we are going to come out as victors, victorious, overcomers, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. I want you to think about this, in every situation, you are more than a conqueror, you are more than victorious because of God’s unfailing love towards you, His love will bring you through. Let’s pray, Lord, we thank you, for your unbreakable, unfailing love and because of your love we have this confidence, we are more than conquerors through the one and because of the one who loves us, in Jesus’ name, Amen
