Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally, we hope you are having a great day. We are doing this series called daily reminders and it is a reminder just like a checklist so that we can be reminded of God’s eternal and foundational truth for our lives. So many times, we rush through the day, we have so many responsibilities and things to take care of, it is good if we remind ourselves, even before we start the day, this is the truth which is in God’s word. The psalmist says, ‘Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits,’ Psalms chapter 103 and verse 2. We need to remind ourselves and remember God and we need to remember the things that He brings our way daily. Romans chapter 5, and verse 8 says this, ‘But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’ Today’s reminder is that God loves us unconditionally, Jesus loves us unconditionally. It is a very simple truth but is something very profound because we are loved by Majesty, we are loved by God, we are accepted by Him and we are loved by Him unconditionally and that is what scripture declares as the agape love of God, the God kind of love which is ‘in spite of love’ and is not a ‘because of love’. John chapter 3 and verse 16, this well-known verse, ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’ That is the heart of God, God not only loves us, but His desire is that we should not perish, He loves us unconditionally. We need to remind ourselves of this truth. 1 John chapter 4, verses 9 through 11, ‘In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.’ That is the outworking of this kind of love, the fact that He love us unconditionally, empowers us, strengthens us to love others. If we have not received this God kind of love, then we don’t have anything to give others, at best, we can do something out of our own will, choice, and decision, but if we receive this God kind of love, this sacrificial love, unconditional love that we can show it to others as well. John chapter 17, verse 23, the Lord says, ‘I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.’ An amazing verse, the Lord Jesus saying, Father, you have loved them as you have loved me. That is the kind of love that God has for you and me this morning. So, today, remind yourself of this truth even as I remind myself, that God loves me unconditionally. Shall we pray? Father, we thank you that you love us so much. May this love cleanse us and heal us, wash us of all regret and pain. May this love bring us that reassurance that we are accepted by you. Father, I pray that even as you love us, the way you love Jesus, we pray that this love would empower us, that we will be confident to show this love to others whom we meet today, we thank you, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
