Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Fruitful (Daily Devotional)

Shalom friends, it's been a wonderful time to study God's word and to meditate on the essentials that we need to complete our journey and to run this race well. Today, we are going to talk about being fruitful. As we journey with God, as we journey in life, it's very important for us to look out for fruitfulness. God seeks fruitfulness in each and every one of our lives. Let's first read from Psalms chapter 1, verse 3, it says, ‘he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.’ Here we study about the life of an individual who is thriving, who is flourishing, there is fruit in that person's life. In other words, there is positive outcome, positive outcome in terms of the person's character, in terms of the person's accomplishments, or we may call it success, there is fruitfulness seen in the person's life. We are being told that this person is a blessed person, that he's experiencing the wholeness that is to be seen in every individual's life. So, God Is a God who looks for fruitfulness and today church, as we look ahead at the journey, one of the things that we must desire is fruitfulness. Even when we consider John chapter 15, we are reminded that the Father, He prunes the vine, the branches such that they bear much fruit. So, God is interested in godly outcome in each and every one of our lives. Today, if you're experiencing some kind of barrenness or even a sense of disappointment that we are not seeing outcomes, let us be assured that God is a God who wants fruitfulness for you and for me. So, let's go back to the time when God created Adam and Eve, when He created the first human beings here on the planet, He blessed them, He said, be fruitful and multiply and you would see this blessing repeated over the lives of many others. Even Abraham, God told him be fruitful. So, we can understand that our God wants to bless us, He wants us to be fruitful and He is speaking over each and every one of His children and saying, I want you to be fruitful, I want you to multiply in everything that I have assigned to you. So, God's heart for us is fruitfulness and may we awaken to this truth and know that He has appointed us to bear much fruit. How can we be fruitful? When we abide in Him, when we are connected to Him. So, stay in God, remain connected in God, allow His word, allow His presence to work deeply in you and God is able to reveal the ways that you and I can take for us to do things right, to do them well and be fruitful in our lives. Shall we pray together? Heavenly Father, we thank you that we are making this journey with you, the God who has blessed Adam and Eve, the God who has blessed Abraham, the God who has blessed the children of Israel Father, we thank you, we thank you and Lord through Jesus, you have spoken that you want abundant life for us. So, God this day I speak over everyone listening and God, I ask that they be fruitful, that they experience fruitfulness in their lives in the name of Jesus, that God would give them the understanding and the wisdom of God to see increase in their lives and God, thank you for doing it. Thank you for blessing each and every person, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
