Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and it is our joy and delight to be able to come to you today and spend a few moments in the word of God and prayer. God is a good God, He is a loving God, He is a God who wants to see us well, who wants to see us be fruitful, be successful, live victorious, triumphant lives and He has given to us in His word, truth that will empower us, enable us to live such lives. As we learn about faith, remember that as we begin to apply these things in our lives, we are going to be people who would be fruitful, successful, victorious, and overcoming in every area of our lives.

Today, I want to bring our attention to another element of the teachings of Jesus concerning faith. Jesus taught us to speak words of faith in order to release faith, to put faith to work in our lives. We see many scriptures where Jesus spoke this, taught this and I will bring our attention to a couple of verses in Mathew chapter 17 and verse 20, ‘So Jesus said to them, “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.’ In mark chapter 11 and verse 22-23, ‘Jesus said, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.’ While Jesus taught us on various aspects of faith, one of the things He pointed us to is that, when we have faith in our hearts, we need to speak words of faith. Speak what you have faith for, speak what you are believing God for. He said, you say to the mountain ‘move’ and it will move, you believe in your heart and don’t doubt and then speak words of faith, not words of doubt, not words of unbelief, but words of faith. You speak into the natural realm, you speak to things in the natural realm, you speak to the mountain and situations and to your body, to your financial situations, to your relations, speak to things in this realm. So, you have faith in your hearts towards God and then you say, without doubting but believing that what you say (because what you say is, what you believe in your hearts) will come to pass; Jesus said, you will have what you say. Jesus taught us how to exercise our faith in God, how to say the words, speak the words, speak words of faith, speak to your circumstances, situations and that is how we release faith. I want you to practise that in your life, believe God and His word and then you speak your faith, speak words of faith, and then remember faith will bring about an expression/ manifestation of the miraculous work of God in your life; that will happen, do it, practise it.

Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for truth in the word, secrets that are in the word, that can be unveiled to us so that we can practise those things, we can live by truth, and even as we do these things, thank you for working in our lives, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
