Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Faith (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Ashish Raichur

Greetings! thank you for the privilege of being able to spend a few moments with you in God's word today. This week we're talking about the nine marks of a minister of God. And we are looking at second Timothy chapter three and verses 10 and 11 where the apostle Paul listed nine marks concerning his own life and ministry, that he pointed out to Timothy and said Timothy, you've seen these things in my life. And one of the things he mentioned here was faith; faith in God of course and saying Timothy, you've seen my faith in God. Now we have to try and imagine, what Paul would have been referring to. Timothy spent several years traveling with Paul and ministering from his 2nd missionary journey on, Timothy accompanied Paul for the most part of his journeys all the way as a prisoner to Rome and when he was in prison in Rome, Timothy spends some time with him there as well, until Timothy had the opportunity of seeing Paul's faith in God in all kinds of circumstances. He saw him when he faced oppositions, he saw his faith in God when he had to change direction and go to a new region to expand and preach the gospel, he saw him preaching before big influential people when he was in Athens, when he had to bring his defense before kings and nobles, he saw Paul's faith in hard times, in difficult times. So, Paul is saying, Timothy, you’ve seen my faith in God, follow that faith. That's something you've carefully observed, my faith in God. And so, this is an important mark of the minister of God, our faith in God, that people should see that we are men and women of God, put our faith in God, we're anchored in God and no matter what's happening, no matter the situation, no matter what's going on, our faith is deeply rooted in God and His word. We believe His promises for every area of our lives, we believe the Word of God, we're standing on the word, and we are moving forward by faith in God, that whatever God calls us to do, we attempt great things by faith in God. We step out and go beyond ourselves because of faith in God. We are not affected by the mountains that come in our way, but we believe mountains will move because of our faith in God. We're not afraid of challenges and hardships and trials because we have faith in God. People need to see our faith in God, we are ministers of God and here's one mark that highlights us as ministers of God- faith. May people see our faith in God. Let's pray, Father, we ask that as ministers of God, we will demonstrate great faith in you, that people will see that we are walking by faith in the living God, trusting you, trusting your promises, stepping out on the word, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
