Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom, we trust you are having a wonderful day. It is our pleasure to bring to you God's word, where we discover and explore the truth of His word and apply it into our lives. Through this week, we are going to be looking at the richness of God's love and yesterday we started by looking at the prayer that Paul had about us grasping the dimensions of God's love for us. We're going to be looking at different aspects of God's love. Today, we focus on the everlasting love of God. When I read from scripture, Jeremiah chapter 31, verse 3, this is what the Lord said to Jeremiah, ‘the Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with loving kindness I have drawn you.’ We look at this attribute of God's love, the everlasting nature of God's love. All of us have been recipients of somebody's love at some point of our lives, it could be a parent, it could be a spouse, it could be a friend, it could be anyone else that we hold a close relationship with. Human love is for a season and for a time, human love is quite conditional, it is a kind of love that loves only when there is a reciprocation, only when there are two people in a beneficial association, is when we find that that that love lasts. Often in that love, we attempt to please each other, but there comes a time we fail love and there comes a breaking point at which we could give up on that love or experience that love. Human love is far from the nature of God, it is so different from what you and I normally experience on a day-to-day basis. The scripture shows us today that God's love is an everlasting love. The word everlasting in Hebrew means that which continues for a long time or that which perpetuates. God's everlasting love is not conditional in any way, it does not depend on your or my performance, it does not depend on who you and I are or what we have done, it does not have any bearing to our sins even. It's not a love that stops when we begin to feel unworthy or when we feel unloved. His love for us is never conditional, He loves us in spite of who we are. God's love pursues us so much that His love ensures that we would be recipients of this love, not just here in this life, but also into eternity. This we see is displayed through Jesus, when Jesus died on the cross, He purchased our salvation so that we would be with Him into eternity. The love of God also suggests that it will never fail, it will never run dry, it will never dry out because He's completely committed to loving us. So today, as you go through your business or your activities, let us be encouraged to meditate on these beautiful love lines of God that tell you that He loves you with an everlasting love. So come boldly to His throne of grace, soak in that love and exchange those feelings of inadequacy or condemnation of guilt for His everlasting love. Let's break together, Heavenly Father, we are so filled with awe that you love us with an everlasting love, a love that is unconditional, a love that never runs out, never dries out. Today, we come to exchange all our feelings of negativity with the love that you have, this everlasting love that pursues us day after day, we are so privileged to be a recipient of your love, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
