Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Covenant (Daily Devotional)

Welcome everyone, it is a great joy to connect with you once again. We will continue to talk about healing and today, I want to dwell on the subject of covenant. When we study covenants in the bible, we see that they are solemn promises, it is a binding oath, an agreement between two parties and a covenant is so much greater than our understanding of what a promise is these days. In bible times, we see that covenants were made through blood as Leviticus chapter 17, verse 11 revels to us and God gave a name of Himself which is a covenant name or He promised to offer Himself to us through a covenant name known as Jehovah Rapha. When He spoke of Himself as Jehovah Rapha, what God was actually saying was that I make a solemn promise, a binding oath, I have an agreement with you that I am the one who heals you, your body and soul, who brings healing and shalom to every part of your being. Through the covenant, what God has actually done is that He has offered all of Himself to us. So, as believers, when we look at a covenant that God has given us, we know that we can receive of Him through that covenant. As we consider Him as our healer, we can go to God in faith and receive healing for every part of our being. God made a covenant of healing with us and with Abraham. Many years later, when the Lord Jesus was walking the earth and serving in the ministry which was given to Him, we find that He looked at a certain woman in Luke chapter 13 and He called her the daughter of Abraham. In Luke chapter 13, verses 10 through 17, we see a woman who was bound with a spirit of infirmity, she was bound up, she was bent over and for 18 long years, she suffered by the affliction of these demon spirits. But when the Lord Jesus met her, one of the things that He called her is the daughter of Abraham and in verse 16 He made a statement, ‘So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?’ What Jesus was saying is, the covenant is still valid and on the basis of the covenant, this Jewish woman who was part of the Abrahamic covenant, satan had no right to put sickness on her body and Jesus was coming against that. Today, for us friends, as we know that the Lord Jesus has already come, He has become our redemption for us and as we study the book of Hebrews, we have a better covenant through Him, even as compared to the Abrahamic covenant, we have a better covenant, we have better promises and so when satan wants to put sickness and disease on our lives, we can resist it and say, we have a covenant with God, God has spoken and said, He is Jehovah Rapha, my healer and so we choose to walk in health and declare that we are whole and well. Even as we continue to press in, I believe that we will begin to experience the manifestation of healing. Just hold on, pursue, trust in the Lord and keep going. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love and goodness, that you made yourself available in wholeness to us. Even as you have released your healing to us, I pray in Jesus’s name, that bodies, minds, emotions will be touched and let wholeness and health be each one’s portion, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
