Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings, thank you for this wonderful opportunity to come you and spend a few moments in the word of God. This week, we have been mediating in our daily devotionals on the subject of money, just examining a few things, surely there is a lot more in the bible concerning this subject, but our intent is to just bring our attention to a few insights that are given to us in the scriptures. Today, I want to talk about another aspect of blessing people with money or using money to build relationships through which you can bless people. In Luke chapter 16, Jesus gave the parable of the unjust steward, or a manager who mismanaged the business that he was supposed to handle, he did a bad job but when he knew that he was going to sent out of his position as a manager, he immediately uses his position to do certain things, to build relationships with people. Jesus didn’t tell us that we follow the example of the manager who mismanaged things, but He went on to give us three important lessons out of that story. One of the things He said, the first lesson He brought out is in Luke chapter 16, verse 9, ‘"And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home.’ What is He saying? He says, use your money, that is the unrighteous mammon to make friends, to build good friendships, to bless people, so that when you are in trouble or fail, your friends will be there to help you. In other words, use money to bless people. Of course, the intent is not just that you will get something back from people, but the point is your friendships/ relationships are more important, blessing people through those relationships are more important than the money itself. Yesterday, we talked about investing money, today, I want to present to you this insight that you can use your money to bless people so that they will in turn do something good to you, if ever that need arises. In proverbs chapter 3, verse 27, the bible says, ‘Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so.’ You have got something in your hand, there is somebody whom you can help, maybe a close friend, help them to whatever extent you can, of course we can’t help everybody, what we have is finite, the need is infinite, but you help and bless somebody with what you have. The friendship that you build, the good thing that you do, will in some way, some form, some fashion come back to hep you. ‘So cast your bread upon many waters for after many days, it will come back to you’, Ecclesiastes chapter 11 and verse 1. Let’s pray, Father, we ask that you help us use money to bless lives, to foster good relationships with people, to value relationships above money so that lives can be blessed and built up, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
