The Divine Exchange

The Bible tells the story of our wandering away from God in sin and rebellion, and God in His immense love coming to rescue us back to Himself. To bring us back to Himself, He became as one of us. He stepped into our world. He did this for our sakes. He did this just because of you and me. He became what we were, so we could have what He had! In this divine exchange, planned and orchestrated by God Himself, the Lord Jesus became a Man took our place, so we could be positioned and put in His place before the Father. He chose to swap places with us. The divine exchange took place on the Cross of Jesus Christ. The Cross was one moment in time, when God swapped places with man, and took everything we deserved, so that we could receive everything we do not deserve.
