Romans - A Book Study

Romans - A Book Study : Sermons in this series

During his third missionary journey, Paul spent about 3 years in Ephesus. From there he went into Macedonia, and then on into Greece which would have included cities like Athens and Corinth. When Paul was in Corinth, he wrote to the believers at Rome. Paul's epistle to the Romans is considered among his best doctrinal letters that explains several important themes of the Christian faith. The book of Romans is about the power of the Gospel. We have in this epistle one of the clearest and detailed explanations of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Starting with the existence of God, the sinful depravity of man, the consequences of sin, Christ's atoning work, justification and righteousness by faith, overcoming sin through the Cross, walking in righteousness by the Spirit, and living the Christian life, the book of Romans describes our spiritual journey.

In this sermon series we study through each of the 16 chapters of Romans.
Creator And Creation (Romans 1). The Righteous Judgment Of God (Romans 2). Sin And Justification (Romans 3). Righteousness By Faith (Romans 4). Grace And Righteousness (Romans 5). Sin's Power Broken (Romans 6). The Law And The Dominion Of Sin (Romans 7). The Spirit Of Life (Romans 8). God's Choosing (Romans 9). Israel (Romans 10). God's Plan For Israel (Romans 11).
