Hello and welcome once again to Living Supernaturally, our daily devotion, where we take time to look into the word of God. Today, we are considering this whole aspect of walking which is to life itself, how we conduct ourselves and what the scripture exhorts us as to how we should walk which means how we should live and regulate our lives. Today, we are looking at Ephesians chapter 4, verses 1 to 3, ‘I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.’ We got to live our life, regulate our life and conduct ourselves worthy which means appropriately or suitably, worthy of the calling with which we are called. In 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 20, it says, ‘Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ.’ One of the many things that we can consider, what is our call and what we are called to do, we are ambassadors for Christ. An ambassador meaning a representative and a spokesperson, we are ambassadors for Christ. As though God were pleading through us, it says, we implore you on Christ behalf, be reconciled to God. So, we are ambassadors, spokespersons, representatives of the living God and representatives of His Kingdom. Our thoughts, words and deeds are to represent the character, the nature of the King and His kingdom. Our words are to be edifying and life producing because we are spokespersons communicating the message of the kingdom, we are ambassadors of Christ. Psalm chapter 1 and verse 1 says, ‘Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.’ Which means he walks in the counsel of the godly. Verse 2 says, ‘that his delight is in the law of the Lord.’ As one who walks in the ways of God, as one who’s called to walk worthy of the Lord, we are called to delight in the Lord, delight meaning doing something that is desired, doing something while taking pleasure in, we are called to delight in the law of the Lord. So, this one who walks in the counsel of the Lord and not in the counsel of the ungodly, delights in the law of the Lord and it says in Psalms chapter 1, verse 2 that ‘in His law, he meditates day and night.’ He meditates that means ponders, thinks deeply, esteems and mutters to himself the truth of what he is reading, he is meditating on the word of the Lord. We are called to walk worthy of the Lord as ambassadors, as representatives, as people called to be spokespersons, communicating the message of the kingdom. This is our privilege and this is something that we would do, regard and consider that we are invited. So, lets pray and commit ourselves, Father, we thank you that you call us to be ambassadors for Christ. Thank you that you have called us to be spokespersons for your Kingdom, to represent you. We pray that we would walk worthy of this great calling each and every day, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
