Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone, such a joy to connect with you once again. We are talking about some of the things that you and I can be zealous and enthusiastic about as believers. Today, we focus on sharing the gospel. We as believers know that the Lord Jesus gave us the great commission, where He asked us to share the good news to the ends of the earth and in every nation of the world. That is something that each one of us, every believer is called to. I want to encourage us friends that this is something that we must be eager to do, we must enjoy doing and helps us pursue the purposes of God, to really share the good news of what Jesus has done, how He has provided salvation on the cross of calvary for us, how He died in our place and because of His death, burial, and resurrection, we now have the forgiveness of God that we can experience and every blessing of the cross. This is incredible news that we need to take to every creature. Now, I just want us to focus on Acts chapter 8, is the passage where Philip goes to Samaria and he shares about the Lord Jesus and we see wonderful things happening as he takes this message. In fact, we are told that there was great joy in the land because of the good news. How is it that other believers were doing this great deed of sharing the good news? In Acts chapter 8 and verse 4 it says, ‘Now those who had been scattered went from place to place preaching the word,’ this is from the Amplified version. It says ‘those’ which is referring to normal believers or you may want to call them as ordinary believers who are not tagged with any title or with any experience but scriptures tell us that even the so called simple or ordinary believer in those times, when they were scattered, they were scattered because of persecution during those times that people were actually scattered but even though they were scattered because of persecution, nothing could stop them from sharing the good news of the Lord Jesus and what Jesus had done in their lives, how Jesus had saved them. We find that they went place to place preaching the word it says, wherever they went, along with their life went the message of the gospel and the invitation to receive salvation through Jesus Christ. We see that the first century church was all fired up to share the gospel and as people ministered, not just Paul the apostle and some of the other apostles that we usually give our attention to in the book of Acts, but we notice that all believers went around sharing the gospel. We know in Acts chapter 1, verse 8, the Lord Jesus promised us the empowering of the Holy Spirit. Even as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit and we share the gospel, it will touch many lives. I just want to encourage you, the first century church in 100 A.D, it is said they reached places like Rome, Greece, Armenia, Syria, and raised up many believing communities. So, today with many more tools, I’m sure that God can use us mightily. I just encourage you to be enthusiastic about sharing the gospel. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to take the good news of Jesus to the ends of the earth. I pray that each one of us will be empowered by your Spirit and that the glory of the Lord will fill the earth, we give you thanks and praise, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
