Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome back to Living Supernaturally, it is so good to meet you here and look into the word of God together. We’ve been mediating on how we can appropriate what has been freely given to us and the key to that is faith. We’ve been looking at the way Abraham believed in God and there is so much that we can learn and apply in our own lives. We are looking today at Romans chapter 4, verse 19 and this is what it talks about the manner in which he believed, he believed and didn’t look at the circumstances, he believed despite the circumstances, he didn’t allow the circumstances to influence his faith, rather, his faith influenced the circumstances. Romans chapter 4, verse 19, ‘And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.’ This was the circumstance, he was old but he didn’t consider his own body nor the fact that Sarah, his wife was barren. The thing is this, he didn’t allow the fact of the natural circumstance to restrain him from exercising faith. Well, the facts are there plain to see. In your own life, there could be facts speaking very loud and clear. To believe in God, doesn’t mean that we ignore the facts, we consider the facts and say, yes, I know what the facts are, I know my situation/ circumstance but we go beyond the fact to look and lean on what the Lord says. That is what he did, he didn’t consider the fact that his body was dead, the deadness of Sarah’s womb. We also see that when we don’t consider the situation or the circumstance, we also give attention to something else intently that is the word of God. Proverbs chapter 4, verse 20 onwards say, ‘My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.’ What does that mean? To incline, lean and hear something means to lean away from something else, to lean away from the facts of the circumstance. We acknowledge it but we lean towards the words of God. Verse 22 says, ‘For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.’ This is what we can do, lean away from the voice of fear/ doubt/ unbelief and to fill our ears, eyes, heart with the words of God, with the sayings of God, the truth of God’s word. So, we meditate on God’s word, confess the word of God and fill our heart with the word of God. We lean not in our own understanding; we lean towards God. Thirdly, we can speak/ confess His word that has been put in our heart, confess it, declare it over the circumstances. In this manner, when we believe, we believe the way in which Abraham believed and so, we appropriate/ receive what has been feely given to us in Christ Jesus. Shall we pray? Father, today we look at the circumstances/ facts but we go beyond it. Even in our own lives, whatever be the circumstance that is stating loud and clear the impossibility of certain things happening/ manifesting in our lives but yet we incline towards you and your sayings. We incline our hearts and ears to receive and hear what you have to say and we give that priority in our lives. When we choose to do this, we know that we will receive what has been already given to us freely in Christ Jesus by grace through faith, Amen.
