Greetings and thank you so much for staying with us through this week, week one of 2025. We’ve brought us the word of the Lord- the Lord will bring you increase more and more. So, expand your mind, open your heart, expect God to bring increase even in times of famine, and things don’t look like there is going to be increase, expect increase. Even if you have lots and God has already blessed you, expect even more because you can be a greater blessing. Here is a word we want to bring our attention to, Psalm chapter 62, verse 10, ‘Do not trust in oppression, nor vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart on them.’ Here is a clear instruction, as God brings increase in our lives, we don’t put our heart on the increase but on God, our heart is always stayed on God. The increase we are believing God for and receive from God is for us to serve Him and people better, serve more people, bless their life, be more fruitful for the kingdom. Be a greater blessing, if you’re reaching tens of people, reach hundreds; if you’re reaching hundreds, reach thousands; if you’re reaching thousands, reach tens of thousands; if you’re reaching tens of thousands, reach hundreds of thousands of people, that is why we believe God for increase. As God brings the increase, we do not turn our attention to those things, we keep our attention on God, our heart focused on God and that is that I want to encourage us to do. As we journey through 2025, as you see the goodness/ benevolence of God, as God causing you to prosper and experience increase in your life, keep your heart fixed on God and say thank you that you are doing all this for your own glory so that people can be blessed, saved, brought into the kingdom, that lives and nations can be affected, that is why God is bringing increase in your life and mine, in the church and ministry. So, we keep our heart focused on God and don’t get taken away by the increase. Let it always be for His glory. Let’s pray, Father, we give you thanks for the increase that you have given to us and are giving to us in this year. I declare your increase in every area of our life, spiritually, in the ministry, professionally, financially let there be increase. You alone be glorified God and help us to keep our hearts set on you, as we journey through this, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
