Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone, thank you for joining once again. We are studying about God being the God of increase in our lives from whom we receive every blessing. We will continue in that same teaching today and I want us to consider the life of Isaac. I'll read for us from Genesis chapter 26. Genesis chapter 26 and verse 12, ‘Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.’ We see here that God gave Isaac an increase in an unusual time. The time during which Isaac sowed was a time of famine, we read that in Genesis chapter 26. However, here is a child of God reaping a harvest and it's not an average harvest we are talking about but a hundredfold increase he receives in the time of famine. Today, I know a lot of us youngsters as we look at the future, we are wondering what's going to happen, with the circumstances that exist in the world, there can be doubts in our hearts, there can be questions about who is going to make a way for us, that isn't this a challenging phase? Isn't this a time when people are unable to get jobs, people are unable to get a good income; all these things could be occupying our minds and our hearts. But I'm here to tell each one of us that as we faithfully labor and we trust God, the God who brought an unusual increase for Isaac, in an unprecedented time; he was in the time of famine, God can do that for you and me. We just have to be faithful in sowing. We have to be faithful in doing the work of our labor. What is it that God has called each one of us to do? Let's do that and let's do that well and let's not keep worrying about who is going to make a way for us, how are we going to see a blessing, will there be a positive outcome for the work that we're doing? Surely, when we do our work and we have faith in God, God who did a miracle for Isaac is able to do a miracle for you and for me and we can see an unusual increase in our lives. Let's continue to be faithful and let's continue to be full of faith because God can intervene in our circumstances. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that no time and no season is beyond you. Thank you that your blessing brings an increase. As we engage in the things that you have assigned us, we do it by faith and as we sow by faith, even in such a time as this, thank you for the increase that you are bringing into our lives; a hundredfold increase and I speak that, I speak that by faith over lives of people, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
