Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

To Finish (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Nancy Ramya

Shalom friends, welcome once again and thank you for journeying through this week, as we've been looking at the essentials that we require to move forward with God. Today, we are going to meditate on the last portion which is about finishing. When we move forward, we must have the end in mind, we must have the end in mind at the very beginning, because that gives us the focus to run in the right path and to run fast enough to reach the finish line. So today, we're going to talk about finishing and finishing well. Let me read for us a scripture, in fact, two scriptures from 2 Timothy chapter four verses seven and eight, ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.’ Here Paul is telling Timothy that he has fought the good fight, meaning he has faced the challenges that lay in his journey, he has overcome the opposition that he experienced, he has he kept his eyes on the goal that God gave him and he's telling him that finally, he's ready to finish his race and after that he is looking forward to the reward that God has in store for him. I want us to take a moment and think about what is it that you and I are running towards? What is the finish line that we want to reach? Do we have a goal in mind? For us to move forward with God, we need a vision, we need that impression from God which tells us what is it that God wants to accomplish through your life and my life, in other words, God's purpose for our lives. Are we clear about the purpose that God has for us? Today, some of us might say that I'm not very clear but I have bits and pieces, that's alright. Sometimes God reveals small things to us, but it is for us to hold on to these bits and pieces and keep moving forward with the vision that he has. Proverbs chapter 29, verse 18 encourages us that with the vision we can keep moving forward, without a vision we perish. So, get your vision from God so that you can finish the race well, have your goal in front of you. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you, that you are a God who speaks and today, we pray that we will hear your voice, the things that you want for us in this year ahead that you would reveal those things to Abba and God, those of us who are lacking vision, who are confused, who do not know where to run, I just pray that Lord, you would grant your peace and that you would make things clear for each and every person, thank you once again because you are a God who gives us a vision. We bless you and we honor you, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
