Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally, we are glad that you could tune in to our daily devotion, where we look into the word of God, we study the word of God and apply the word of God in our life situation. We’ve been looking at the resurrection and what it means to us, what the Lord did for us on the cross and what we have received because of the resurrection. Today, we are going to look at something very encouraging. We see that we have received power because of what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross, because of the resurrection, we have resurrection power in us. Let’s look at Ephesians chapter 1 and verses 19 and 20, ‘and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.’ This verse tells us that the power that is available to us, the power of God that is at work in us, the power of God which is at work through us, is the resurrection power of the Lord. The same power that raised and exalted the Lord Jesus is made available for each one of us. Hallelujah! So, we are not just mere human beings, we are not just people who are existing in life, we have a lot that we have inherited, a lot that we have received because of the resurrection of the Lord. Because we are born again and we can rejoice in the fact that we have the resurrection, great is His power that is at work in us. Let’s read that scripture again, it says, ‘and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.’ We see here and we need to understand that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us, we need to recognize that. The Lord Jesus said, believe and you will see the glory of God. The first step is to believe that yes, the resurrection power of the Lord, the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in my body, is at work in my spirit. The second thing that we see is that this resurrection power is the means by which death is swallowed up in victory. We have the assurance of resurrection, each one of us, we have this great assurance of resurrection because of what He did and because of the fact that He is resurrected from the dead. Let’s look at 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and verses 52 to 54, ‘in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So, when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”’ We have this amazing hope, the fact is that we will be resurrected and death will be swallowed up in victory. If we have put our faith in the Lord Jesus and if we have died in Christ, we will be raised up alive in Christ. There will be a great union or reunion, with all the others who have died in Christ. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for this great hope that we have, for this great truth that we can stand on and rejoice and declare that those who are dead in Christ will be raised again. We have this hope because of that great power that is at work in us. We have this hope because of who you are and what you have promised that you will do because of the resurrection, death will be swallowed up in victory. We give you all the praise and glory at this time, in Jesus’ matchless name we pray, Amen.
