Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome back to Living Supernaturally, where we take time for our daily devotion, to look into the word of God, study it and apply this word of God, this truth in our lives. Today, we are looking at what happened at the cross and what happened to us because of what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross. Romans chapter 4 and verse 25 says, talking about the Lord Jesus, ‘who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.’ Let me read that again, Romans chapter 4, verse 25, ‘who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.’ This verse talks about the fact that the Lord Jesus was raised, was resurrected because of our justification. We need to think about that, we see that the price was fully paid and we were declared justified, guiltless, acquitted. Jesus was then raised; He was raised because of our justification. So, when we look at justification, we see that the Lord Jesus because of His shed blood, He has changed us and brought us to a position just as if we have never sinned before. He has clothed us with His righteousness, He has washed us clean by His precious blood and He did it at that instant when we put our trust in Him. Romans chapter 5 and verse 1 says, ‘Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord.’ All that it takes for us to come to this place of being justified is faith. The fact that He was raised up attests to the justification that we have entered into because of our faith and we can be sure of because of our faith in Him. If we have any doubt in our minds that, am I justified? Is God’ wrath still upon me? Will I have face eternal punishment? If you are not sure of justification, these scriptures should point us to that truth, these scriptures should establish us in the truth, the fact that the Lord Jesus rose again for our justification. So, because He is alive, because He is risen, we are justified. And because we are justified, we have peace with God. Earlier, we were enemies of God, we were distanced from Him, now because of the shed blood of Christ and because He rose again, we have peace with God. Secondly, we see that we have access to God, because we have peace with God, because we are justified, we have access to God and not just at the periphery but to the holy of holies and that is what we read in Hebrews chapter 4, that we have access to the holy of holies. We can go boldly to His presence, to His throne to receive grace and mercy for the living of day. We can stand in the place of grace; we can rejoice in the hope of glory because this is what Christ has done for us. Shall we give thanks to Him even as we pray right now? Father, we thank you we are justified. We thank you that you have given us of yourself, you have shed your blood for us, that perfect sacrifice. You did what we could not do for ourselves. Today, we thank you that we stand in that place of being justified, of having peace with you, of having access to your very best. We thank you; we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ matchless name we pray, Amen.
