Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. It is such a joy to come together once again to meditate on God’s word and pray together. Today, we will be talking about the power of patience. Proverbs chapter 16 and verse 32, ‘Better a patient person than a warrior.’ We all may have gone through seasons of waiting, whether it is waiting in the line at a grocery store or missing a connecting flight, our patience may have been tested. Lot of experiences remind us that our time table is not governed by ourselves or by anyone else but it is governed by God. Patience is the ability to hold ourselves back and not act in the flesh. As humans, we want things quick. We are living in a day and age where everything has become instant. We have become impatient with ourselves, our situations and circumstances. We have become impatient with the people around us. But why does patience matter? The answer is it is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Patience allows us to wait for God to work in our lives. Waiting doesn’t mean we sit around and do nothing. Waiting means that we wait with the assurance, with a hope and trust God for a breakthrough. And when God opens a door, it may not be something that we are called to do or that we wanted to do but it is a door that God has opened for us. If it is God’s will, it will be in alignment with His word. God’s timing is impeccable. One of the characters of God we note is patience because the bible teaches us that God is longsuffering, He is a patient God, He is patient with each one of us. From Proverbs, we can see that the strength of the patient person exceeds more than that of a warrior. Waiting on God is even more difficult than taking matters into your own hands. There is something amazing about being still in the midst of storms. We know that whatever we are passing through is just a passing storm and the best thing is that God is with us in every step of the way. At times of difficulties, we run away from God, we go into the world, we look for solutions, but soon we find there is nothing out there for us. We belong to God; we return to God for He is faithful and He will see us through. Remember, waiting time is never a wasted time. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you, for patience. We thank you that you are a God who is longsuffering. We thank you for your Holy Spirit that grants us patience, help us, maybe some of us are in this season of waiting, we are looking to you, I pray that you will minister to each of their hearts even during this time, that their hearts will be assured that waiting on you is only going to give us strength and make us stronger. We thank you for this awesome privilege, we thank you for your word that exhorts us, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
