Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us for Living Supernaturally. It is such a joy to come together and spend these few moments in the word, in prayer. Also, want to thank you for journeying with us throughout this week. This week, we have been talking about praise. We’ve talked about different aspects of praise and even as we wrap up today, we talk about ten thousand reasons to praise Him. Psalm chapter 103, verses 1 through 5, ‘Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.’ Psalm chapter 103 is a song of praise to God for all the benefits and blessings that He gives us. The psalmist describes many reasons for praising God. The God we serve forgives our sins, He promises to heal our diseases, He redeemed us, He crowns us with love and compassion and He assures us that His love is from everlasting to everlasting, for those who fear Him and who give God all honor that is due to Him. As New Testament Christians, we can add reasons to praise our God. We have been able to hear Him speak to us in scripture, we have been reassured that death has been swallowed up in victory, we have seen how God wants us here on earth to build His kingdom and we have received a preview of what lies ahead, when creation will be restored and God Himself will make things new. As the song goes, ten thousand reasons, ‘for all your goodness I will keep on singing, ten thousand reasons for my heart to find’. Life’s most meaningful moments and seasons of most soul stirring worship typically come when life is at its peak, when our strength is failing. These are times when we discover like never before God truly is with us. Flower beds don’t automatically look nice though, weeds creep in and plants die, they need to be tended to, worked over, cultivated. Our souls are the same way, the rigors of life can creep in and we can neglect the care of our hearts. Just as unattended gardens, our souls can become dry and overgrown. Psalm chapter 103 is a great picture of praise that is cultivation for our soul. We may have ten thousand reasons to praise Him in the best times but this one reason will suffice in the worst times, He is God and no matter what else we lose, nothing can separate us from Him. What are some of the reasons you can think of to praise this one true God, the Lord of heaven and earth? In what ways has He worked in your life? Make sure you take time to praise the Lord today and every day. Let’s pray, Lord Jesus, we thank you for your goodness and your grace. We thank you that we have ten thousand reasons and more to bless your name. Lord, let this be a conviction in our hearts, even through the difficult seasons, that we will praise you and glorify you, thank you for this wonderful opportunity, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
