Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Surrender (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Nancy Ramya

Welcome friends, I really hope you are enjoying this teaching on changing to grow. Today, we will look at the last position or the state of mind that we have to maintain in order to grow in God, which is to surrender, to simply surrender. In our journey, there will be times when we don't understand why certain things happened, when we don't understand why answers never came or why we got connected to a certain person or why things didn't work out, but when we have all these questions, we have to move from just living our lives in a place of our intellect and understanding to a place of trust. There's an oft repeated and familiar passage from Proverbs chapter three, verses five and six, it says, ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.’ For us to grow in God, there will be seasons, there will be moments when we cannot make sense of what just happened. We are unable to wrap our minds around the theology of something that we have been through, but in these moments, all we have to do is to trust in the Lord. Peace that passes all understanding, beyond our understanding, trusting in the nature of God, trusting in the goodness of God, trusting in the faithfulness of God, trusting in the wisdom of God, trusting in the plans and the purposes of God, we keep moving forward. There are many people who grow well in God, but when they experience challenges, when they experience disappointments, when they experience discouragement, they come to a place where there is a question, does God really love me? Has this thing that has happened separated me from the love of God? The word of God is very clear, nothing, nothing shall separate us from the love of God and all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. So, friends, no matter what we have been through in our lives, keep growing. Don't let the incident that you cannot understand, stop you from moving forward in God. God is a God who renews our strength, they that wait upon the Lord shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk, and they will not faint. God is a God who renews our strength and I pray today that you will experience the renewal of your strength and you will keep running and sprinting forward with God, Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that you are a good God, and even at times when we cannot understand why we are in a place of discouragement in our lives, we choose to yield to you. We surrender all things; we trust in you. Lord, continue to lead us and continue to bring us to our high hills, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
