Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings, thank you for this privilege of being able to come to you and share that word of God with you and spend a few moments in prayer with you. This week, we have been talking about having faith for the future, how you and I can be people who are fearless concerning our future regardless of what's happening around us, all the uncertain times and things that are happening, people are unsure about what's going to happen next, yet, you and I can be people of great confidence and assurance in our hearts. The reason is because of our God and what He has promised us. Today, I want to bring our attention to the fact that our steps are ordered by the Lord. In Psalm chapter 37, verses 23 and 24, the psalmist said, ‘the steps of a good man, or a good person are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he will not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.’ What a powerful truth, that our steps are ordered by God and God takes delight in our path, the journey that we make, God delights in it, He's paying close attention, He's enjoying that, He's joining with us in that. So, the bible is saying that our steps are being ordered by God. So, when you think about your next step that you may need to take, whether you're a student, thinking about college or you're thinking about getting into the workplace or you're thinking about marriage, you're thinking about where you going to live, whatever your next step is for you, your next step up professionally, so many things about the future that you and I may be thinking about, you got to understand that, that step, your next step and all the steps that come after will be ordered by God. As long as you rest in Him, you trust in Him and you walk aligned to Him, He is faithful to order your steps, your steps are ordered by God. Anytime you feel worried about the future, concerned about the future, fearful about the future, say this, my steps are ordered by the Lord and my God delights in my way, He delights in the journey of my life. And even if I were to fall, even if I were to make a mistake, I'm not saying we should make mistakes but even if we make a mistake, we will not be utterly forsaken. It's not the end of the world. Why? Because God upholds us, God brings us back on our feet. This is the confidence you and I have as believers about our future. My steps are ordered by the Lord. Your next step is being ordered by God. So, walk with faith in Him. The bible says in proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 and 6, ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.’ God is directing your parts, that's why you and I can have faith for the future. What we can't see, you can still have assurance of, because there is a God in heaven, who is ordering our steps and directing our paths. Let's pray, Father, we thank you, that you take delight in our journey, you order our steps, you direct our paths. Let this fill our hearts with faith for the future, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
