Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone, it is such a joy to come to you and talk about worship. Worship which is such an integral part of our relationship with God. We cannot help but to worship Him because God is so worthy and we’ve been looking at true worship, the right way to worship God and I have a couple of things to share. Worship must be sincere and filled with faith. Let’s look at a passage form Mathew chapter 15, verse 8 and 9, these verses read, ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men’ It is talking about people during these times, who had some practices, some traditions that were supposed to be called worship but when Jesus evaluates their worship, He doesn’t find it appropriate and so He states in this manner, He says that these people draw near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. In these verses, we see that Jesus is talking about the connection between what one believes in their heart and what they say. It is possible for us to worship God as a lip service and not really means it from our hearts and that is something Jesus is warning us about. Our worship must be sincere, something that arises from the heart and is released through our lips. Let’s also see here that God notices our hearts and we’ve seen passages in scripture where we read that, God sees a man by his heart and not so much by their external appearance. God is able to know what we have in our hearts and worship must begin there and worship must be released through our lips. There are passages like Isaiah, God tells the people, you are trying to do all these things, but it is not the kind of worship that I seek, even the so-called worship that people had to offer, God called it noise. So, God looks for sincerity in worship. Here is a scripture from Hebrews chapter 10, verse 22, ‘let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.’ Coupled with sincerity, here is the next thing that we need and that is a heart full of assurance of faith. With faith, in who God is and what He can do, let us draw near to God to worship Him. Our worship must be sincere and full of faith. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for these warnings that we see in your word. We pray that our worship will arise from the heart and that you will help us keep our worship sincere. We thank you for who you are, that we can worship you with a sense of assurance and in faith, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
